About Storm Tomlinson
Storm Tomlinson is a young Australian author and illustrator with a passion for helping children better understand their emotions.
Storm’s journey began with her own experiences navigating big feelings. She started drawing what her emotions looked like as a way to identify, understand and regulate them. What began as a personal creative outlet soon developed into an idea that could help other children experiencing the same challenges.
Her debut book, Everyone’s Rainbow, brings emotions to life through colourful characters, “feeling codes”, thoughtful questions and illustrations designed to encourage conversations between children, parents and teachers. Created from a child’s perspective, the book helps young readers explore their feelings in a relatable and engaging way.
Storm believes that understanding emotions from an early age can help children develop greater emotional awareness, confidence and connection with themselves and others. Her goal is simple: to create books that help children feel understood while giving them tools to better understand themselves.
Everyone’s Rainbow is the beginning of Storm’s planned Everyone book series, continuing her mission to combine creativity, storytelling and emotional learning for kids, families and classrooms.

Everyone's Rainbow

EVER WONDER WHAT YOUR FEELINGS LOOK LIKE?
Jump into a world where feelings turn into monsters - big, small, wobbly, and wild! Some are sad, some are happy, some are embarrassed, and some love. Each one shows us what it’s like to feel, and that every feeling has a story to tell.
Created by a kid who started drawing what emotions looked like inside, this book helps you see, understand, and maybe even befriend your own feelings.
You’ll discover colourful “feeling codes,” thoughtful questions, and pages that spark conversations. Whether you’re reading together at bedtime, in the classroom, or just need a moment to check in with yourself.
Because feelings aren’t something to hide, they’re something to explore. When we learn to understand them, we learn to understand each other, too.
The Everyone book series.
For kids, parents, teachers, and everyone who feels.
