BIOGRAPHY

Ailsa is Professional marketer, marketing consultant, workshop presenter, renowned keynote speaker and author of 3 small business marketing books.

​

She has been passionate supporter of small business for 20+ years specialising in  finding their point of difference with easy to understand strategies and techniques that get results.

​

Ailsa has worked in marketing and senior management positions for organisations such as Bicycle Victoria, the Conservation Council of Victoria (now Environment Victoria) and The CEO Institute.

As Director of Marketing for the Wangaratta Festival of Jazz from 2000-2003, Ailsa was responsible for developing its profile as a multi-award-winning, internationally-recognised festival, achieving the status of a Tourism Victoria Hallmark Event.

A passionate supporter of small business, Ailsa has acted as marketing and business coach in the Women in Business Program, Business Planning Assistance Program, Artists in Business Program and Skilling Small Business for the Future and as a Small Business Mentor and lecturer at Victoria University.

Recognised as an expert in her field, Ailsa has judged the Telstra Business Awards in 2007-2013, the Telstra Women’s Business Awards in 2007 and was a panel judge for the awards in 2008 and 2009.

 

Among other publications, she has written the Shoe String Marketing Kit for Small Business. In 2009 Ailsa was awarded the Star Women in Business Professional and Business Services category.

Ailsa has produced a fortnightly internet marketing podcast “Marketing Geek” which attracted an international audience. Ailsa will be launching her Marketing Dynamite Website in the upcoming months.Specialties: Public Speaking, Marketing Strategy, Small Business Marketing, Services Marketing, Communications, Training.
